Lesser Chaos Enhancement Stone
The Lesser Chaos Stone is one of the Enhancement Stones of DeFi Kingdoms. When used during summoning, the Lesser Chaos Stone provides a +4 bonus to A totally random and unprectable stat, and a +3% boost to the Primary Stat Growth Chance and +5% to the Secondary Stat Growth Chance of the same stat.
Why Are These Bonuses So Important?
When you summon a hero, there are three kinds of boosts available – either you get a blue and a green stat, or a purple stat which is both bonuses combined. The blue stat gives you a +2% boost to the Primary Growth Stat and +4% boost to the Secondary Growth Stat on a hero card. The green stat gives a one-time +2 stat boost.
When summoning heroes, the blue and green stats are based on genes. Whilst you can tip the odds in your favour of getting the Blue and Green stats to land on your preferred stat for the hero class you’re summoning, it’s not guaranteed.
You can usually guarantee which stat you boost by using an Enhancement Stones (ES), but the Chaos variants of these stones make it absolutely impossible to predict which stats are going to be boosted. If you don’t have any other ES available, you might consider a Chaos Stone, because bonuses of even the Lesser Enhancement Stones (LES) are worth more than the blue, green or purple stats you can get on all heroes. Of course, you might get lucky and you RNG into the stat you’d want to boost and ultilmately the goal is to hit a purple bonus and an ES bonos on the stat you’re aiming for.
Where to Find Lesser Chaos Stones
So the first round of Lesser Enhancement Stones were dropped as rewards for the hero burning event The Perilous Journey (PJ). They were rewarded to players for heroes that survived or or offered as compensation to those heroes who perished on that unique quest line and at the time there was no way to create or find more.
They’re available to buy at the Trader in the Serendale Marketplace, but prices have been going up steadily since the initial influx from the PJ rewards as the stones have been spent on summoning and the overall supply has dropped. As supply goes down, demand goes up.
There is presently no way to find new Lesser Chaos Stones through questing, but are available to craft with Stone Carver Rudel at the Portal in Serendale.
How to Craft a Lesser Chaos Stone
You can read a full guide to crafting Lesser Enhancement Stones here. For a quick look at the resources you’ll need, see here:

Lesser Chaos Stone Value in Gold
Giving it a value of approx 2447.5 Gold if you crafted the Mana Vial at the Alchemist or 5067.5 Gold if you bought the Mana Vial at the Vendor. Plus 5 extra Gaia’s Tears for crafting the aforementioned components. Plus the 50 Gaia’s Tears and 2 Shvas Runes, which don’t have a fixed value.
How to Use Enhancement Stones
Enhancement Stones are used as part of the summoning process for heroes, which means you have to go see the Arch Druid at the Portal.
Then click on the Arch Druid, and click ‘Infuse Crystal’
You’ll then see a screen that looks like this. You can then select the Enhancement Stone that you’d like to use. The example here is the Lesser Chaos Stone – I’m not going to do different screenshots for all of the different kinds of stones!
The first time you add a stone, you’ll have to approve the contract first (otherwise you’ll get an error message when trying to begin the process):
Once you’ve clicked ‘Approve Contract’, you should get a message like this pop up (I’m using MetaMask in my example):
Now, don’t just click approve straight away when a message like this pops up – always check to make sure the contract you’re giving permission to a website to use is what you expect it to be. It’s fine if you recognise the website and the contract is the one you’re expecting, but do stay vigilant.
Once you’ve approved the contract, added your heroes and selected your desired stats, you’re ready to begin the summoning process!
